Single-edged nippers, which feature outstanding sharpness that leaves no white marks when cutting plastic model parts, are now an essential tool for beautifully finishing plastic models.
To achieve this sharpness, the blades are thin and sharp, and the opposing blades are flat like a cutting board.
However, because plastic model runners are very hard, thin blades wear out easily and it is difficult to use them for long periods of time while maintaining their sharpness.
The Advance Sustainable Nippers are single-edged nippers that allow you to replace the blade like a design knife and restore their sharpness to that of a new item.
Simply loosen the bolt to insert and remove the blade, and you can easily replace the blade.
By replacing only the cutting blade, you can keep maintenance costs down while continuing to use the nippers with a sharp cutting edge.
An industry first! Single-edged nippers with replaceable cutting blades
The "Sustainer Nipper Advance" is a nipper made for models that uses replaceable blades, a first in the industry.
Even if the blade breaks or becomes dull, you can restore the sharpness of the same nipper to like-new condition by replacing it with a new blade. The body is made of stainless steel and the blade is made of tungsten, so it is resistant to rust and requires little maintenance, allowing you to use it for a long time.
Replaceable blades with unbeatable sharpness
The specially designed replacement blades provide a sharpness that is comparable to that of regular single-edged nippers. The cutting blades, as well as the main body, are made of a highly rigid material, so they can be used with a sharp cutting edge anywhere from the tip to the base. They can also cut plastics as thick as runners (approximately 3 mm).
The thin and hard cutting blades result in a clean finish with little whitening on the cut surface.
Easy-to-replace slide system (patented)
The replacement blade has a special U-shape and can be easily removed by loosening the screw on the fixing plate. When setting a new blade, slide it into the gap in the fixing plate, insert it all the way, and tighten the screw to complete the replacement. The fixing plate is equipped with an anti-rotation mechanism that firmly clamps the blade to the body of the nippers without any gaps.
In addition, it is equipped with a stopper that allows you to adjust the engagement of the cutting blade with high precision, so you can adjust it if there are individual differences in the replacement blade.
Grip designed for comfort
Through extensive research and analysis of the forces exerted on the hand, we developed a grip shape that is easy to hold. By fitting the contours of the fingers, you can hold the nippers stably without getting tired even after long periods of use. It also effectively transmits the force of your thumb to the cutting blade, allowing you to cut gates with less force. Furthermore, by attaching a finger attachment to the rear end of the grip, you can hold the nippers more securely and achieve a more stable feel.
After use, you can store the nippers safely by attaching the included protective cap.
2-way driver for easy blade replacement
The "Sustainer Nipper Advance" comes with a dedicated 2-way screwdriver. It is a one-piece screwdriver with two different shapes, one for replacing the blades and one for fine-tuning the blade engagement.
The tips are magnetic and can be attached and detached.
A cap is included to protect the blade.
The "Sustainer Nipper Advance" comes with a dedicated cap. When attached to the nipper body, the cap provides space between the inside of the cap and the tip of the blade to prevent shocks from being transmitted to the blade and protect it. It can
be easily removed when in use.

The storage case includes three dedicated replacement blades and three spare screws to secure the blades.
