Description
[The evolved aerodynamic body with refined functionality catches the eye] Pursuing a lower center of gravity by installing the horizontally opposed engine "Boxer" unique to SUBARU. In addition, the second generation model of SUBARU's first FR sports car, SUBARU BRZ, which attracted much attention due to its joint development with Toyota, was announced in Japan in July 2021. Inheriting the basic form of the 2-door coupe, it has evolved into a more dynamic style (transformation, deepening, improvement, aging). The aerodynamic treatment of each part was also carefully applied. We also pursued weight reduction by using aluminum materials for the bonnet, roof, and fenders. The engine is a 2.4-liter horizontally opposed 4-cylinder DOHC that delivers 235 horsepower. The development concept of "the ultimate FR pure sports car that everyone can enjoy" has evolved further.
