Description
The RG 1/144 Tallgeese (TV Animation Color Ver.) is a Premium Bandai (P-Bandai) exclusive Real Grade model kit. This specialized edition adapts the advanced engineering of the standard Real Grade Tallgeese framework to faithfully recreate the iconic prototype mobile suit piloted by Zechs Merquise in the original 1995 Mobile Suit Gundam Wing television series.
Key Features & Design Changes
- Anime-Accurate Color Palette: Features completely overhauled plastic colors. The multi-toned off-whites and greys of the standard retail release are replaced with a crisp, uniform solid white and deeper contrasting greys to accurately match classic cel-shaded animation.
- Redesigned Shield Emblem: Incorporates an updated round shield layout featuring the simplified, molded Eagle emblem stamped directly onto the center face, paying homage to the original TV line art.
- Hidden Leo Camera Head: Staying true to the lore of the After Colony universe, the outer helmet faceplate can be removed to reveal a hidden, red-monocular Leo-type camera head underneath.
- Custom Decal Sheets: Includes a unique marking sticker sheet packed with classic insignias, including Zechs Merquise's personal lightning-bolt markings and OZ organization iconography.
Engineering & Gimmicks
- Super Vernier Pods: The signature backpack layout features expanding armor panels. Pulling open the main thruster pods triggers a linked internal mechanism that reveals highly detailed thruster nozzles inside.
- Articulated Auxiliary Arms: The massive Dober Gun and the round shield attach directly to the shoulder armor via multi-jointed support arms. This allows the weapons to swing forward into firing positions without restricting arm articulation.
- Beam Saber Storage: Features dual beam sabers with clear pink beam effect parts that can be neatly holstered inside the interior storage rack of the round shield.
