[PT41] J35F/J Draken 1/48
Description
In 1949, the Swedish Air Force requested Saab to develop a new fighter.
In 1955, the Draken, with its unique double delta wing design, was born.
The fighter-type J35A was improved to the J35B, J35D, and J35F,
and the two-seater fighter trainer SK35C and photo reconnaissance S35E were also produced.
The J35F, which was the most produced, was an evolution of the J35D, with its fire control system changed to the high-performance Saab S7B,
and it could carry four Rb.27 (AIM-26B Falcon air-to-air missiles)
or Rb.28 (AIM-4C Falcon air-to-air missiles),
making it a powerful all-weather interceptor.
The J35J was produced by increasing the fuel capacity of the J35F,
adding external hardpoints, and modernizing it.
The kit is available in two versions: J35F and J35J.
The ram air turbine and tail wheel for landing are reproduced in the open position.
The set includes three decals from aircraft belonging to the Swedish Air Force.
For the Sidewinder and Falcon mounted under the main wing,
please use the separately sold Aircraft Weapon C American Missile Set (X48-3). k
