Description
The MG 1/100 Crossbone Gundam X3 Ver. Ka is a Premium Bandai (P-Bandai) exclusive Master Grade model kit. Designed by mechanical designer Hajime Katoki, this kit brings the third unit from the Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam manga into plastic form. Built on the compact 2006 Crossbone inner frame, it stands slightly shorter than standard Master Grade kits, accurately reflecting its lore-specific scale.
Key Features & Design Details
- Unique Aesthetics: Features a striking white, blue, and red color scheme. The head unit is completely unique, featuring an embossed "3" emblem stamped onto the forehead instead of the traditional crossbone skull, along with an opening faceplate/vent gimmick.
- I-Field Forearm Generators: Features explicit forearm I-Field Generators with functional opening and closing outer panels. It includes specialized alternative flat-palm hands with molded vent details to recreate iconic energy-barrier poses.
- Functional Core Fighter: True to the lore, the backpack layout disconnects and transforms into a separate docking Core Fighter mechanism that serves as the pilot cockpit.
Included Weapon Arsenal
- The Muramasa Blaster: The definitive signature weapon of the X3. This massive gun-sword hybrid includes 15 attachable clear-pink beam effect parts to replicate its full-ignition chainsaw mode.
- Traditional Armaments: Includes the Buster Gun and Beam Zamber (which combine into the Zambuster rifle), two Heat Daggers (storable in the calves or attached to the soles of the feet), and two Scissor Anchors.
- Anti-Beam Coating (ABC) Mantle: A flexible, fabric-textured plastic cloak that can be draped over the Gundam’s shoulders for a rugged pirate silhouette.
- Accessories: Includes a flexible black wire line for deploying the scissor anchors, a pilot figure of Tobia Arronax, and custom Ver. Ka gold-and-red themed water-slide decals.
