Little Armory - LA109 Type 100 Machine Gun 1/12
Description
The Type 100 submachine gun (late model) is recreated in 1/12 scale. The bolt can be opened or closed, and you can choose whether or not to include the Type 2 bayonet.
The Type 30 bayonet that comes with the Type 38 rifle (sold separately) can also be attached. The Type 100 submachine gun, which uses 8mm Nambu ammunition, was developed in Japan during World War II. It has a layout similar to the Bergmann MP18, the ancestor of submachine guns, with a wooden stock and side-loading magazine, but it also incorporates unique Japanese design elements such as a slim body, unique muzzle device, and bayonet attachment.
The 8mm Nambu ammunition used had better recoil control and better accuracy at close range than the 9mm Parabellum and .45ACP bullets commonly used in other countries.
