The Mosin-Nagant M1891/30 is an advanced version of the M1891 bolt-action rifle designed by Colonel Mosin and the Nagant brothers during the Imperial Russian era. More than 12 million were produced between 1930 and 1944, and it proved its worth as a tough military rifle on the harsh Eastern Front during World War II.
The Mosin-Nagant is also known as a gun used by many famous snipers, and the legendary sniper Simo Hsyhs used a Finnish model of this rifle.
