Reproduces the fixed stock model "A3" type of G3. Selectable carrying handle, bayonet, rail mount, and bayonet are available. Also includes Z51 type night vision scope used by the West German army. Reproduced using two molding colors.
A German-made 7.62mm automatic rifle that was officially adopted by the former West German Army in 1959. It has a rare mechanism for an assault rifle that uses recoil to load the next round, and is said to have higher accuracy than standard rifles that use gas propellant to load the next round. This mechanism is also inherited by the later high-precision masterpiece SMG "MP5".
The G3 was highly praised during the Cold War, and was adopted by 48 countries around the world, including NATO member states. It was produced under license in 14 countries and became so popular that it was called one of the "four major assault rifles."
There are various models of derivatives, such as the A4 type with a metal telescopic stock and the SG-1 type, which is a sniper rifle made from a highly accurate individual.
