"PKP", commonly known as Pecheneg, which appeared in the 2000s as an advanced version of the Soviet machine gun PKM. Unlike traditional PK machine guns, which can replace a barrel overheated by fully automatic shooting during combat, this model does not allow such a barrel replacement. With the addition of the function to cool the barrel at the same time as firing, it is difficult to overheat in the first place. As a result, PKP is said to be capable of firing as many as 600 shots. Since it does not require a long and heavy spare barrel and follows the lightweight design inherited from the PK series, it is a very useful light machine gun for special forces that require both mobility and firepower.
