HGUC White Rider 1/144
Description
HGUC RX-80WR White Rider 1/144
The 1st prototype unit of the Pale Rider plan.
It was created using the RX-80, the base unit used for Pale Rider units, and is installed with ZEUS, a special fire control assistance system and an early version of what would become the HADES system. The special system could not be downsized, resulting in an enlarged head with an unique design which resembles a crown. White Rider was mainly created to run the assist control system for HADES and for operation experiments using the composite weapon system, Shekinah.
The prototype Shekinah was a weapon designed to test a high-power beam cannon. It was concluded that using it would lead to adverse effects where it would overload the MS and hinder the ability to use other beam weapons. Therefore, the beam output of the Shekinah considered for mass production was reduced. The unit fulfilled its objective when the Pale Rider was completed, it was then transferred to the Black Dog Squad, and deployed in actual combat during the North American Counteroffensive Operations.
The White Rider emerges with a stunning aesthetic never before seen in any mobile suit. It features a unique and significant looking crown type helmet for its antenna! His chest and waist armour have also been produced in newly moulded parts for this Pale Rider variant.
Fully equipped, the White Rider has a range of weapons such as :
- A back-pack that can hold her prototype Shekina weapon and wing binding equipment is also newly moulded for the kit.
- A thermal rapier is also included in the kit for his short-range weapon.
- ZEUS and normal modes can be reproduced with the two-colour aluminium stickers supplied.
