It’s that time of year again - Panda Hobby’s Annual Halloween Contest is back, and this year we’re making things bigger, spookier, and more fun than ever!

Calling All Ghouls and Monsters 👻🧟

We invite every ghost, ghoul, and monster in disguise to step inside our *imaginary haunted house, *but beware, it’s not a real haunted house, it’s a building contest! Bring your spooky creativity to life with models, dioramas, and eerie details that will haunt everyone's imaginations. 

Two Contests, Twice the Fun

For 2025, we’re excited to announce two separate contests:

• Main Contest – For our regular participants who want to showcase their creativity and modeling skills.

• Kids-Only Contest – Designed just for our younger builders so they can join the fun in their own category.

This way, everyone has a chance to get involved and show off their haunted creations!

Halloween Party 🎉

We’ll be hosting two Halloween Parties for all our contest participants:

• Main Contest Party: November 1, 2025

• Kids-Only Contest Party: November 2, 2025

Both parties will feature treats, snacks, and a full build day to chat about your projects and meet fellow spooky builders.

An official event link will be shared closer to the date. Contestants who want to attend must register (free) so we can prepare accurately for attendees. 

The Theme: Haunted House 🕸️🏚️

This year’s theme is all about the haunted house. Think creaking floors, cobwebbed corners, creepy shadows, and anything you’d expect to find in a place filled with fright. From ghosts and ghouls to zombies and monsters, the possibilities are endless—let your imagination run wild.

The Catch: Diorama Required

Here’s the twist that makes this contest extra special: every entry must include a small diorama element. At minimum, that means adding a piece of the haunted house—like a floor, a wall, or both—to your build. These little details help bring the spooky scene to life and push the creativity to the next level.
