Description
This is a 1/12 scale model of the M60E3. In addition to the gun itself, a soft resin belt link bullet is included. A short barrel length is available.
The M60E3 is an improved version of the M60 general-purpose machine gun developed by the United States after World War II. The M60 debuted fulfilling the requirements for a general-purpose machine gun, but various problems emerged during actual combat.
The E3 version was developed to solve these problems. It was made lighter and had improved handle and bipod positions, but was eventually replaced by the more reliable M240 machine gun. However, some people appreciated its performance, and the Navy Special Forces SEALs and others continued to use it even after the M240 was released. Furthermore, its rugged design became popular in the world of action movies, and it added a touch of glamour to classic films as a "big gun" operated by muscular actors.
