Description
The F/A-18E/F Super Hornet is an advanced successor to the F/A-18C/D Hornet. To increase the flight range, the fuselage has been extended by 86 cm and additional fuel tanks have been added. In addition, fuel is loaded in the vertical tail.
This weight increase is compensated for by engines with increased thrust, and the intakes have also been enlarged due to the engine change. The angular parallelogram intake shape is one of the aircraft's characteristics. The aircraft structure has been significantly changed, with the wings extended and the wing area increased to increase lift, but other than that, only some of the electronics and power system have been updated, and as much as possible, it has been made common with the F/A-18C/D. The kit includes accessories for the underside of the main wings: drop tanks (x4), AIM-9X (x2), AMRAAM (x2), and target pods.
