[PT23] AH-64D Apache Longbow 1/48
Description
The AH-64D Apache Longbow is an advanced version of the AH-64A Apache, an all-weather attack helicopter developed and adopted in line with the US Army's Advanced Attack Helicopter (AAH) program. The radar-equipped version was called the AH-64D Apache Longbow, and the radar-free version was called the AH-64C. At the end of 1993, the AH-64C designation was abolished, and all versions came to be called the AH-64D Apache Longbow, regardless of whether they were equipped with radar or not.
The most distinctive feature of the onboard sensors is the Fire Control Radar (FCR), also known as the Longbow Radar, which is mounted on the top of the main rotor mast, and which detects, identifies, and automatically selects targets for attack. This is a new generation attack helicopter with excellent control capabilities during combat due to its integrated system management.
